Building a Better Remote

When discussing good and bad design with our students, we call their attention to everyday objects and ask them to consider how easy these objects are to use and how well they do or don't solve a problem.  TV remotes are one of our favorite examples of an object that can be difficult or frustrating to use.   In The Wall Street Journal today, personal technology columnist Geoffrey Fowlers writes, "Hallelujah! Samsung fixed the most annoying thing about TVs!
