How Might We Make Our Community More Livable for People with Alzheimer's?

At DT Philly, we see students contemplating and empathizing with the needs of different segments of the community, including the elderly, which is why a recent article in The Wall Street Journal caught our attention:  as the number of citizens living with Alzheimer's grows, how do communities become more "dementia friendly"?  In places like Paynesville, MN, this includes training business and government employees to interact with people who are forgetful or are exhibiting signs of dementia.  To learn more about the initiative, visit http://www.actonalz.org/
