Serendipiters and Super-Encounterers

Monday, March 7, 2016

We love it when our student designers have moments of discovery, and listening to students from Strawberry Mansion High School recently describe their "aha" moment put us in mind of an opinion piece that ran in the The New York Times earlier this year.  In it, the author writes about serendipity as something people do rather than as a happy but random occurrence, and she connects serendipity to a willingness to explore and to keen powers of observation--qualities we certainly value and enourage in DT Philly.  Curious?  Click the following link to read Ms. Kennedy's column:  How to Cultivate the Art of Serendipity.
