Student-Inspired GWJMS Project Space

Tuesday, September 6, 2016

While the Advanced 5 design team at Grover Washington, Jr. Middle School was busy last spring bringing their DT Philly project to life by painting walls in teachers' rooms to improve the environment for students and staff, their teacher and a volunteer from City Year were hard at work on their own project:  creating a dedicated work space where groups like the design team can meet and be inspired.  Mr. Reinhard unveiled the new project room right before school ended in June, dedicating the effort to the students on his two design teams who had expressed a desire for just such a space.  Room 365 is ready and waiting for the new class of changemakers who will walk through the doors tomorrow morning!  What will you be inspired to change in your school this year?
