Here at DT Philly we are thankful for the wonderful architects, designers, and engineers who are volunteering their time to mentor our school design teams. Last week we were visiting the Lincoln team when they first connected with their mentor and learned about some of the incredible projects (like the Orion spacecraft) he works on, and we had the opportunity recently to introduce the Mastbaum and Strawberry Mansion teams to their mentors who had great feedback and insights to share with the students about the design process and their projects. The mentors and other design professionals who have agreed to serve as consultants for any team are a great resource! For example, the MLK and Penn Treaty mentors are helping their teams frame big, challenging problems in focused ways, and the Southwark and Kensington Business mentors are visiting their schools to lend a hand. If you haven't consulted with your mentor or one of our on-call design professionals recently, reach out! They're here to help you make the most of your experience.
